Les Marchande Sousne Soleil I

Elizabeth Martineau

The process of creating an abstract painting involves not only a paint brush and paints but an emotion that comes from within the artist. Elizabeth Martineau Narrow work represents a high evolved state of the techniques that Martineau has developed over the years. Martineau whose vision and execution is based in a rigorous composition and development of a number of inventive techniques that emphasize color and texture. Manipulating the paper and layering them creates an opportunity for the paper and paint to unify in an unpremeditated way.
