Created by visionary artist Patrick "Patcasso" Hunter, this mesmerizing collection of artwork pays homage to both living and past legends. From Bessie Coleman, Frederick Douglass to Kamala Harris and Tommie Smith, each portrait invites viewers to connect with their stories and embrace the strength and resilience that have defined their legacies.

November 17th: Reception 5-8pm Patrick Hunter will be painting live at the gallery during a reception with live music.

This collection was created in partnership with the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks in honor of Black History Month 2023. The unique project that garnered the NBA G League Promotion of the Year showcased the power of purpose, inspiration, and the urgent need for change through the wearing of jerseys during their February 7th game against Santa Ana Warriors (Golden State Warriors). The jerseys feature the portraits as a symbol of unity and progress. By day, Patrick Hunter is a Technology Consultant in the Tech Industry based in Dallas / Fort Worth. By night, Patrick assumes the identity of Patcasso, a nationally recognized live performance painter. Patcasso, a STEAM Ambassador (Science Technology Engineering Art &Science) that travels the world unveiling a world of intrigue, emerging technologies, and careers that connect all disciplines of the Arts with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Co-Founding STEAM Revolt, a non-profit that creates curriculum intended to “add swag to STEAM” using pop culture and art. He choreographs the arts to music creating dynamic visual performances that captivate his audiences. Many have seen him perform live turning a blank canvas into icons such as MLK, Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg and Ray Charles in minutes to a diverse genres of music for the Atlanta Braves, NBA and the Sundance Film Festival.
